Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) is a professional association supporting the information transport systems industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies. Through courses, conferences, publications and professional registration programs, BICSI staff and volunteers assist ITS professionals in delivering critical products and services, and offer opportunities for continual improvement and enhanced professional stature.
AJAX Communications, Inc. is a corporate member of BICSI. Our employees are BICSI certified, and we hire only BICSI certified sub-contractors when utilizing them for cabling services. To maintain our good standing with BICSI, AJAX must adhere to stringent performance standards and safety codes set forth by BICSI, as well as local and state agencies. Our BICSI-certified staff have completed and passed extensive written and practical (“hands-on”) testing in the proper installation of cabling systems. In order to maintain our credentials, we must keep our knowledge current. BICSI requires that certifications be renewed every two to three years (depending on the certification type). In order to renew our certifications, we must earn a specific number of continuing education credits by attending classes and conferences.
